An introduction to paddling & navigating in a coastal environment. Get ready for a friendly overnight trip while discovering the waterways around BC's beautiful Southern Gulf Islands. Paddle Canada Coastal Touring 1 Skills certification is an option.
The 2-night/3-day SUP expedition will take place near Sidney, BC and includes 2 nights of self-supported camping at a remote island location reached by boat or paddleboard, depending upon conditions.

Discovery Islands Coastal Touring Adventure
Join Blue Jellyfish SUP Adventures, for this 5-day 4-night lodge based adventure. We will have the Discovery Islands Lodge on Quadra Island, BC to ourselves while paddling out each day. Paddle Canada Coastal Touring 1 Skills certification is an option.
Explore the rich marine environment of Surge Narrows Provincial Park, paddle to a floating post office and enjoy sunset views of BC's Coast Mountains. You'll be introduced to navigating in a coastal environment, route planning, and more with an emphasis on knowledge, navigation and safety skills.
Algonquin Park SUP Wellness Retreat
It's time to immerse yourself in nature and hone your stand up paddle skills while practicing rituals that will support your wellness both on and off the water. Paddlers of all levels will gain increased confidence in flat water conditions, all with the backdrop of Algonquin Park's blazing autumn colours. Gentle rituals developed specifically for paddlers will introduce you to breath work, meditation and mobility movements warming you up in the morning and relaxing you in the evening. The floating wood fired sauna, campfires, fresh air hiking combined with the groups laughter and camaraderie bring the serenity to your life that you are craving. Option to work towards Paddle Canada Basic, Advanced or Coastal Touring 1 Skills certification.
This 3-night/4-day adventure is based on Lake Kawawamog on the edge of Algonquin Park where we will spend our evenings in cozy cabins and our days exploring the lakes and rivers loved by famous painter Tom Thomson. We will have our private, gourmet chef along to pamper us and fuel our adventures, so you can relax and soak up the ambiance of the magnificent landscape.
